  • I have the following questions:
    1. Are these forks made tu hold pallets? In other words, is this model designed for pallets mainly?
    2. Can the forks be adjusted to be closer together or have more distance apart?
    3. Can I use the forks directly (without pallets or other instruments) to carry a 23 inch in diameter 55 gal container?
    4. Is the applied force alot more different ( alot higher) in a manual hand winch than a pedalift model?
    From Margie C at 6/17/2019 4:55 PM
    Hello Margie C,
    • 1. The 18" fork lengths may be too short for a standard 40 x 48 pallet.

      2. Yes, the forks are adjustable to suit a wide range of uses.

      3. This winch lift is not recommended for safe handling of drums.

      4. The lifting force required for a winch model is much different that hydraulic model as the winch is a hand crank and the hydraulic is a foot pedal. The foot pedal lifting force is less than the hand crank force.
