In the case of a spill, the foam ring around the top perimeter of the containment berm rises with the level of the liquid. Sidewalls stay lowered and out of the way until they are needed. The Ultratech 8438 rapid rise spill containment berm features durable puncture resistant Copolymer 2000 polyester fabric for reliable service and excellent chemical compatibility with substances like kerosene, diesel, and 50% sulfuric acid. The fabric can also withstand temperatures as low as -25F before cracking for added environmental protection.
This Ultra-Containment rapid rise berm has self-rising sides. Foam in the top, outer perimeter of this containment berm's sidewalls raise the walls with the level of the liquid should there be a spill. Sidewalls remain down during normal operations. Built-in handles help with transport and placement.
This rapid rise containment berm offers high sidewalls in order to meet the 750 gallon containment requirement for agricultural use.
