The HSM SP5088 industrial paper shredder is an extremely high performance conveyor belt document shredder, combined with baling press (FA 500.3 and KP 88.1). The special hardened solid steel cutting rollers are highly durable for long lasting performance. Shreds sensitive material into 9/32" x 1-1/2" to 3-5/32" particles (security level P-3). Powerful motors with chain drive grantees reliable operation with maximum throughput. Material intake via loading table and electric conveyor belt makes for easy and fast shredding. Emergency stop-rail in front of loading table adds to the safety of the shredder.

The SP5088 can handle large quantities of documents, perfect for archives and bulk storage. Baler with loading aperture/inspection flap for non-confidential documents or cardboard. Material compressed directly in the waste bag. Manual 3-fold bale strapping with continuous polyester tape. Multifunctional keypad control for constant operation and reverse as well as automatic reverse in the event of a paper jam. Integrated, automatic oiler for cutting unit. The waste frame is front accessible and has rollers for easy disposal and transport.

Shredding and pressing is conducted simultaneously. An integrated, manual oiler for cutting unit keeps the cutting shafts lubricated for optimal performance. Accepts staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks, USB sticks, and junkmail.
