Product Description

Acroprint BioTouch biometric proximity time clock is a fully self-contained clock-in solution that requires no software installation or connected computer. Easy to use biometric identification eliminates buddy punching. Employees clock in and out using fingerprint scan, proximity badge or key fob, keypad PIN, or a combination of these methods. Accommodates up to 500 users.

The BioTouch time clock features quick setup with no complicated network configuration. Simply enter your rules for up to five shifts into a simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, upload to the time clock using the included USB memory stick, and the time clock is ready to use. This time clock is ideal for remote offices or other locations that don't have an available network port nearby.

To setup the system, view reports, and print time cards, the supervisor or administrator simply uses the included USB memory stick to transfer the punch data from the BioTouch time clock to their computer. Using Microsoft Excel, the administrator can perform all functions from the convenience of their PC using the familiar Excel interface.

Employees can clock in and out using an enrolled biometric fingerprint scan, proximity badges or key fobs, or an employee ID number plus PIN code. This economical solution can accommodate up to 500 users.

    Good simple unit and easy to set-up and use. My only complaint would be that you can't customize the MS Excel timecard report without paying Acroprint Tech Support to customize for you. I called and they charge for services. I know that the TC CAL automatically calculates according to the way their report is already set up, but I think customers should be able to customize the reports and create their own macro.

    We bought this product and its a great product. We are a plumbing company and our technicians thumb prints are hard to capture since they work with their hands harshly. The company is working with me to return the machine and replace it with a punch card time machine. I appreciate that they are so willing to help us get this right.

    User friendly. Each person can register multiple finger prints, so if one fail, he/she can try the others. The package came with a free card, which is just what we need for the only female worker who feels uncomfortable touching the finger print reader where all other people is using. Don't need to be a network expert to set it up, because it uses only USB drive to get the data from the device.

    This is a simple unit that does exactly what it claims, and fairly well. It doesn't seem to like people with dirty hands or otherwise difficult to read fingerprints - we have some folks that cannot get it to read their fingerprint at all. Otherwise, it is simple to use and does a good job at recording the time people worked, etc. Good unit for the money.

    • This product does not total at all. You would have to total the data when exporting to Excel.
  • Do we first put flash drive stick into clock to download instructions, then put drive into computer to download set up instructions, then step three, load those parameters into excel on our computer, and finally reload everything back on flash drive and back into clock? very confusing to me. please give me easy to follow set up instructions.
