The TFE630LCR is an in-ceiling speaker that is real world tuned for superior sound quality. With all the same design principles and features as the TFE830LCR 8" model, the TFE630LCR is a 6.5" woofer for when a small but powerful speaker is needed. It presents the same brilliant performance as a left, center, or right channel speaker in either a multi-channel or 2-channel installation. The TFE630LCR has improved imaging from any mounting position with a 15º angled baffle, pivoting bridge mounted tweeter, room boundary compensation, and three positions of tweeter level control. The angled baffle and pivoting tweeter help adjust the dispersion to better suit the TFE630LCR's placement in response to the listener's position. The Room Boundary EQ eliminates unwanted boosts in low frequencies, known as a corner loading effect, when mounting within two feet of a corner. The PTC protected tweeter can also be adjusted to -2, 0, or +2dB to further the imaging potential. The flexibility these engineering feats provide makes the TFE630LCR a premier choice when value, space, and sound quality are all concerns.
