Design
The Jamo S 426 HCS 3 is the newest addition to Jamo's constant commitment to value-for-money loudspeaker systems. With the stylish, contemporary industrial design, these speakers easily blend into the modern living room that are the standard of the day. In the established Jamo-tradition these speakers will outperform virtually every competitor in this price range.
Thanks to a carefully balanced engineering effort, these speakers will offer both good looks and a sound quality that is very rarely heard from speakers in this class. The S 426 has dual woofers in a reflex-optimized enclosure and a low-resonance tweeter with a Jamo Waveguide. The result is a punchy, yet refined and detailed sound, that will make movies as well as music more enjoyable.
The S 426 HCS3 includes the S 420 Center, two S 426 floorstanding loudspeakers, and two S 420 Surrounds for a first-rate, value surround system. Thanks to the terrific versatility in terms of placement (S420CEN and S420SUR speakers have built-in wall mounts) these speakers will not clutter the living room. Available in an elegant Black Ash finish.
Consider adding a Jamo SUB 210, 250, or 260 for a complete, exciting 5.1 channel home theater system!

I ordered this system as my first legitimate home theater setup and I could not be happier considering how much I spent. The improvement over my 5.1 computer speaker system is unbelievable. The price point on this system is perfect, and it helped me stay under my ~$900 budget for the entire HT system.Value Quality Price
I set the S426HCS up with a SUB260 (also from DigitalBuyer) and a Onkyo NR-609 receiver (local Fry's).
I wouldn't say I have fully setup the system to it's capability yet, but so far so good. So far my major gripe with the S426 is that the grills are not that easy to remove/insert/replace if you mess with them. They don't fall out, but if you take them to take a peek, it's a bit of a pain to get them in the right spot again. Also, the S426 doesn't include speaker spikes, just little 1/2" rounded feet pad things.

After much research on avsforums, I decided to go for these Jamo S426HCS3 speakers with a Yamaha RX-series receiver. People call it an 'entry-level' system, but, to me, these perform extremely well for my use (TV and movies in a ~ 14' x 16' room).Value Quality Price
Hoping that these will last for years to come. Very happy with purchase. Hope this helps others like myself.
